This years Halloween was so fun! I didn't really love Halloween from the ages of 15-28, so loving it now as a parent seems even better. We first had a parade at Canon and Ben's school (where I work too!) on Friday. There was an indoor parade then a walk around to neighboring businesses to trick-or-treat.
Then it was onto the real night on Saturday. Despite a close Clemson game, we gathered at the Spencer's for a few spooky snacks and more trick-or-treating.
Then we were off! There were 7 kids between 3 families and we leisurely walked up and down their street. Some houses were spooky and some gave out full size candy! The best by far though was the last hose which gave us champagne. #win
We finally made it home and put the boys to bed around 9pm. I was hopeful the late bedtime would help us with the time change and sure enough it did! We didn't hear them until 6:20 this morning! Daylight savings should happen after Halloween every year in my opinion.
We've already taken the good chocolate to save for ourselves, but Canon will have ton of gummy and caramel goodness to last for at least the week!
