Guest Post on Teaching Sam & Scout



I am so grateful for the opportunity to participate in E's series, 31 Days of Making It Work As a Working Mom. Go on over there to check out how I, and many other women, balance working outside the home and having kids.

For those who might be clicking over from there, Welcome! Here is a little about me:

My husband and I met (and were married in less than a year!) in New Orleans, January 2011

In August 2011 we moved to Denver and that is where we had our first son, Canon, September 2012





In August 2013 we moved to Alexandria, VA - my hometown! Aaron is a middle school teacher at a small classical Christian school and I work part-time for both a church and a campus ministry at George Mason University

We are expecting boy #2 in December! You can read about our Gender Reveal here!

Even though I said I'd "never move back home", I'm having a blast discovering this city as a wife and mom and I am so glad to be close to friends and family! I blog mostly about my child, sometimes recipes, and our adventures around the east coast!

I titled this little blog "we'll be in touch" because when Aaron and I were at the beginning of dating, he never quite committed to the next date (he was a little unsure) so would just say to me "well, we'll be in touch". I never knew exactly what that meant, but lucky for me it worked out!

Well...there is not really any other way to say this but... Aaron and I are having a BABY! Yep, Baby Schultz should be arriving this Labor Day. We could not be more thrilled about the news! Once we got through the 12-week ultrasound, which is what this picture is from, we were ready to spread the news! Over the past few years, I've had the opportunity to be part of some awesome ministries. From time to time, I've been given the chance to speak and I wanted a place to keep those files. February Goals

Happy February! I'm joining Elizabeth and Sarah to talk about B+ Goals for the month! I am loving the idea of setting up some attainable goals for each month, but also giving myself grace for meeting or not meeting them. This year I am focusing on my Physical and Spiritual Health. First, a quick review of January's Goals.
