My Rodan+Fields Wishlist

Now that I have been using these amazing products for 2 months, I thought I would highlight what I've already been using and what is on my wishlist!

1 - SOOTHE regimen - I've choose this regimen to begin because of the redness in my skin tone. I could tell from the first night that I made the right choice! I honestly never knew that my skin could feel so much better - as in tighter, firmer and smoother! Love this.

2 - Micro-dermabrasion Paste - I've been using this paste a lot! I've used it in place of SOOTHE step 1 at night to give myself an at-home facial! I just recently used it to get some dead skin off my feet and of course, before applying the sunless tanner! I was most impressed by how smooth my feet were without even using moisturizer! I love that I can give myself spa treatments without paying the price for them!

3 - Essentials Lip Shield - I have a thing for lip moisturizer, and this one is never far. I love it so much I've given all my others to Canon to destroy use!

4 - REDEFINE Eye Cloths - For removing my makeup, especially eye makeup, these are the best. They definitely get the job done and in a pinch, if I only do this at night, I know my face is clean enough! I also love that they deposit peptides onto my skin to help fill in lines!!

5 - Foaming Sunless Tanner - LOVE. Honestly, so much better than the Jergen's glow lotion that I've used in the past. It doesn't smell (I mean, it has a smell, but it is certainly less offensive than others that I've used!) and I really like that I can build the color as I go. I did 2 applications in 15 hours this past weekend and really liked the color I got. This product has sold out TWICE in the last 4 months, so you know it is a good one!

And now to my wishlist....

I put an order in every month, and these are the things I am hoping to buy over the next few! I can't wait to have them all!!

1 - REVERSE regimen - REVERSE exfoliates, brightens and reduces fine lines and wrinkles! I have high hopes to see some of my dark spots go away and to brighten up my whole face so I can be foundation free!!

2 - REDEFINE hand treatment - I carry hand lotion with me everywhere, so this one I'm definitely looking forward to!

3 - ESSENTIALS Daily SPF 30 Sunscreen - Summer is coming! SPF all over is a must and this one is on the top of my list

4 - MACRO EXFOLIATOR - this tool removes 5 million dead skin cells in 5 minutes once a week! I would love to have this in my kit to keep my skin healthy, smooth and fresh! Aging is all about prevention you know!

5 - Mineral Peptides Powder - this powder, with SPF 20 and light reflecting minerals, is the perfect "top coat" to a foundation free face!

6 - ESSENTIALS body moisturizer - this moisturizer helps build the skins barriers it can withstand the environmental factors that come at it all day long - in other words, my toddler.

7 - REDEFINE eye cream - this eye cream is seriously the best. It fills in deep lines and wrinkles as well as works against puffiness and dark circles. I haven't slept a full night (except for Mother's Day) in over a year, it is #1 on my list. If only it weren't sold out...However, my mom just got some so I might have to make a weekly stop to her house!

8 - Gauze pads - these gauze pads were designed by the company to make our products last longer. Less absorbent than cotton balls so you waste less during each application. They are a must have for any regimen that requires toner!

There you have it. If you have any questions or recommendation of your favorite products, I'd love to hear them!!!

Baby Boy #3!

We are expecting baby boy #3 and since I documented a good amount of my pregnancies with the older two, I want to at least start off giving this one the same treatment! I am due May 25th, though he'll probably come around the 18th by c-section. We found out in my 18 week appointment that we were having a boy and I can honestly say I've been super excited since. With two older brothers already ruining, I mean running, the house, I'm happy to bring another boy into our crazy. This pregnancy will always be remembered by having to have my gall bladder removed at week 11. As soon as I hit 6 weeks I started having intense gall bladder pain. I've dealt with gall stones since Canon was born, but they were always singular events that would pass in about 4 hours, and this pain was consistent and all day/night long. The doctors I saw encouraged me to manage it with diet and hope to get to 16 weeks before discussing surgery. I tried everything, which pretty much meant eating noth...

22 weeks (5 months)

this kid cracks me up Just like every mom, I say this every month, but I can't believe he is already 5 months! I'm not going to lie, this event has really caused me to kick my mommy-ness into gear. It is time to get this kid together, ha! So this week I have been really intentional about making sure we get lots of tummy time in, practicing rolling over, lots of time in the bumbo chair and on the couch sitting up and being super silly to pull out those giggles! And honestly, we're having the best time! Not that I wasn't doing these things before, but I had a bit more laid back approach assuming that he'll just learn things on his own. And he will, but now I'm just more up in his face pushing him along! We got over being sick, for the most part, at the end of last week. Since he had been sick, I'd been rocking him a lot more, going into his room during naps/nighttime almost every time he cried, putting the pacifier back in his mouth, etc. Well, let me t...

His and Hers

Aaron has officially started his second year of seminary! To commemorate, I thought I'd paste the answers to some questions we were both recently asked. A way to get an idea of both sides of our life right now. My answers: How did you spend your summer?  We had the best summer! Aaron took Hebrew in June and July, and I had my first summer as a stay at home mom. We went to the beach, pool, the library, visited Chicago and came to Alexandria twice!!  What are you most looking forward to (in your 2nd year at Seminary)?  The “cloud” over the 2nd year is getting ready for our vicarage. We’ll meet with the placement director in October and will find out the location in April! So there will be lots of hypothetical conversations, wishlists and prayers leading up to that!  Otherwise, I’m excited that we’ll be just minutes away from our church and school. I hope to get our whole family to matins more weekdays than not and Canon will begin a first communion class this ...
