We had a really great, low-key Thanksgiving! My mom hosted, which meant we didn't have to travel and got to home base (nap) in our own house! We are so grateful my sister and her family came up and can't wait to all be together again at Christmas!
Wednesday night we went out to eat....these boys are 1 year apart!
Thursday morning Amanda and I ran the Alexandria Turkey Trot. It is a 5-miler and I was feeling nervous about it given my lack of running lately. I told myself I'd run the first 3, then walk the last 2, but ended up running closer to 4 miles! Hooray!
We celebrated Wes' 2nd birthday!
And the "big boys" got to play by the water.
Friday night we walked into Old Town to see Santa and Mrs. Claus! It was a long wait, but totally worth it! We saw the same Santa last year and Canon was much happier this time!
Then Sunday we got our own Christmas tree!
Hope your Thanksgiving was filled with lots of family and food as well!
