Let's just jump right in, shall we? At the beginning of June my family moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana. Aaron is starting the M.Div program here at Concordia Seminary and it was strongly suggested we get here in time for him to take summer Greek. I ended my job and the little boys' school years on June 1. Aaron and Canon finished their year a week later on the 8th. The process to get here was somewhat quick. While Aaron has loved teaching for the past 10 years, especially at Immanuel, we both knew he was feeling a little restless the past 2. So, when in October he told me he was "meeting with our pastor to discuss becoming a pastor", I wasn't entirely surprised. I have always thought he would be a great second career pastor, and that his giftings in teaching and community organizing would suit him well in that role.
